Therapy is a collaborative process. I take the time to listen, to learn about your history and cultural influences, and to work within your value system. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion and respect as we navigate challenges together with care and insight.

A structured approach that helps the brain process trauma and reduce distress by working with both the mind and body. You do not need to retell every detail of your experience for it to be effective.

Sex Therapy
Support for individuals or couples who are experiencing challenges with intimacy, desire, sexual pain or communication about sex. Sessions are open, respectful and free of judgment.

A supportive space for partners to improve communication, rebuild closeness and navigate conflict or life changes with more understanding and care for each other.

Fertility & Perinatal Mental Health
Counselling for those facing fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, postpartum struggles or the transition to parenthood. This includes emotional support, coping strategies and space for grief, hope and everything in between.

If therapy is new for you, I will guide you gently through the process. You can ask questions, take your time and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable.

Tania Rivers is a Registered Psychotherapist and Canadian Certified Counsellor with over ten years of clinical experience in hospital, community, military and educational settings. She brings a thoughtful, client-centered and culturally informed approach to her work.
